Echoes in Draft is a table-read-driven creative development program designed to amplify emerging voices and in-progress works across performance and theatre. Built on the belief that storytelling begins long before the spotlight, this program offers writers, performers, and creatives a space to breathe life into scripts by hearing them aloud—raw, evolving, and full of potential.

This is where dialogue finds its rhythm, characters start to pulse, and narratives echo with the truth of collaboration.

Core Intentions:

• To nurture early-stage works through facilitated table reads and feedback sessions.

• To provide a safe, culturally-responsive space where emerging and underrepresented artists can explore drafts in community.

• To emphasize the value of collective listening and live interpretation as tools for story development.

• To build bridges between writers, actors, directors and mentors, helping ideas move from page to stage with confidence.

• Facilitated Table Reads: Scripts are read aloud with actors and creatives, allowing writers to hear and feel the rhythm of their work.

• Feedback & Echo Circles: A respectful, dialogue-based feedback session where reflections are shared verbally or written.

• Draft Clinics: One-on-one dramaturgy or script clinics tailored to the writer’s needs.

• Story Labs: Creative group sessions exploring themes, voice, structure, and representation in storytelling.

• Public Showcases: Selected work or excerpts will be shared in a public reading night with audiences invited to witness the journey.
